Sometimes a dog’s forever home is waiting in another country.
Many of our rescued dogs are adopted by families abroad — especially in places like Canada and the United States. To get them there safely, we rely on kind travelers willing to accompany them on their journey.
These travelers are called Fly Angels.
If you are already flying home, you can help a dog reach the family that has been waiting for them.
Alfie’s Safe Haven Sanctuary takes care of all the arrangements — veterinary documents, flight crate, transportation to the airport, and coordination with the receiving family.
You simply travel with the dog on the same flight.
A small act for you.

How it works
We simply ask you to be their companion on the journey home.

We check if a dog is ready to travel on that route.

We prepare all documents and airport logistics.

You travel with the dog as checked baggage.

The new family receives them at the destination airport.
